Steve is a Chicago wedding photographer specializing in modern, nontraditional wedding photojournalism. In addition to wedding photography, I also shoot engagement sessions and bridal sessions both locally and internationally. I love to combine my love for photojournalism to document your special day and use my fine art background to create contemporary, beautiful wedding photography. I love wedding photojournalism, but I also love shooting portraits. Chicago wedding photographer Steve Koo has been shooting fine art photography for years before discovering his love for wedding photography and photojournalism. My love for photojournalism and documentary style wedding photography captures all of the emotions, laughter, and tears on your special day, while my fine art photography background will be seen in your details and portraits.
I offer a DVD with high resolution digital negatives and modern and flush mount albums for purchase in addition to photography and engagement sessions. Since every bride and groom are unique, I create custom collections for every client after an initial consultation. High resolution digital files on DVD and albums are also available for Chicago engagement sessions and bridal sessions.
I have provided wedding photography or engagement photography coverage throughout Chicagoland, including Evanston, Schaumburg, Naperville, Oak Brook, Medinah, Arlington Heights, Oak Park, Palatine, Park Ridge, and many more of the area’s northwest suburbs. I am comfortable shooting in any environment or venue, and I have shot at a variety of venues including the Chicago Cultural Center, the South Shore Cultural Center, Promontory Point, the Allegro Hotel, the Renaissance Hotel, the Botanic Gardens, Lincoln Park Conservatory, Cafe Brauer, the Newberry Library, the Drake Hotel, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Modern Wing of the Art Institute, Navy Pier Crystal Gardens, A New Leaf, The James Hotel, Kenilworth Country Club, Medinah Country Club, Cancer Survivors Garden, and many more.
