It’s always a pleasure to shoot in a space for the first time. There’s something about seeing a space with fresh eyes that gives me a spark of inspiration, which is why I’m starting to travel a bit more for weddings once again. I’ve been photographing weddings in Chicago long enough that it’s rare for me to shoot at a venue I haven’t been to, so I was excited when I found out that Ashley and Joe were having their wedding at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago!
I started off my day with Ashley, her friends, and her family as they got ready in their suite at the Westin River North.
Meanwhile, Joe got ready at another hotel across the street.
Back to Ashley as she got into her dress.
After everyone was ready, Ashley and Joe saw each other and we spent a little bit of time doing portraits with the two of them and their wedding party.
After portraits were done, we headed for the Museum of Broadcast Communications for the ceremony and reception.
The room was flipped for the reception, and it looked gorgeous!
Time for the dance party! The Chris Sarlas Orchestra made sure that the dance floor stayed packed all night long.
Congratulations again Ashley and Joe! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Museum of Broadcast Communications wedding day. I wish you both all the best!
