Photography competitions are a funny thing. I entered several images into the latest WPJA competition, and I was thrilled to see that the image below, from Jenni and Cesar’s Chicago wedding, won an award in the “bride getting ready” category.
What’s funny is that I had entered another image from that very wedding. The image below is of Jenni putting on makeup in the limo; I absolutely loved the image and felt that it was strong enough to win an award. Of course, it didn’t win anything, so I suppose that shows you what I know. :)
One more tidbit of news: I’ve been working for some time with some fantastic designers and developers to come up with a new logo, website, branding, collateral, and kitchen sink. I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m optimistic that it’ll be ready to launch by the beginning of the summer. Stay tuned!
