Winter Wedding in Chicago : Sam and Kyle

Remember Sam and Kyle from their Chicago engagement session earlier this year? Of course you do! This was my final wedding of 2011, and it was such a fantastic way to close out a great year. Lovers of good food and good wine, Sam and Kyle chose to have their winter wedding at Spiaggia, where they had more than enough of both to go around. I had such a great time working with these guys at their engagement session that I couldn’t wait for their winter wedding!

I started off my day with Sam and the girls as they got ready at the Intercontinental Hotel Chicago.

I loved Sam’s sparkly shoes:

Deb started her day with the guys in another room at the hotel.

Misse from Honey Bee Weddings made sure that everything ran on schedule.

With Rebecca from Sonia Roselli doing her makeup and Livia Caporale on hair, I thought that Sam looked absolutely stunning!

Her bridesmaids agreed with me:

A Chicago winter wedding always runs the risk of bad weather. While it was chilly, the skies were clear, so we did our first look outdoors!

Tina and Dollie were able to get ahold of peonies in the winter for Sam’s bouquet!

Afterwards, we drove around Chicago in a limo to take a few fun photos with the bridal party.

And then, it was off to Spiaggia for the ceremony.

The guests stepped outside for cocktail hour while the fantastic Spiaggia staff flipped the room for the reception.

Congratulations again, Sam and Kyle, and thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to document your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
