I last worked with Becca and Ben at their Wrigleyville engagement session. They were having their wedding at the home of a family friend in Wayne, Illinois, and I was excited for the opportunity to see the area for the first time! Becca and Ben got ready at opposite ends of the same house. Even so, they chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so the first time they saw each other was when Becca was walking down the aisle with her father. It started drizzling during the ceremony, but luckily, it didn’t really come down any harder, so we were able to finish the ceremony outdoors. We were also able to drive around Wayne to do some fun photos with Becca, Ben, and their wedding party. In spite of the drizzle and some pesky mosquitos, Becca and Ben were in fantastic spirits and were so much fun to be around. With wedding party photos completed, we headed back to the house for the reception. After everyone had dried off and freshened up, we headed back outside under a tent for dinner and dancing! A big thank you to Maggie Rife for driving down to Wayne with me and being my second photographer. Congratulations again, Becca and Ben! Your wedding was so memorable, beautiful and fun. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to document your day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
