Some photographer have already blogged their best-of 2012 photos, but I still have one wedding left to feature before I can do that! (I have a couple shorter weddings and sessions from 2012 that will be coming soon as well.) Today, I’m sharing Malia and Erick‘s wedding at the Metropolitan Club in downtown Chicago. The Metropolitan Club is located in the Willis Tower (better known to Chicagoans and almost everyone else by its former name – the Sears Tower). I last saw these two in September at their downtown Chicago engagement session. Chicago weather is always unpredictable, and even though it rained throughout the day, it never dampened the spirits of this amazing couple. The first frame is one of my favorites from the end of the night; we headed up to the skydeck of the Willis Tower for a couple quick photos. And now, onto the rest of the photos!
I started off my day with Malia, her bridesmaids, and her family as they got ready at the W City Center Hotel downtown.
When everyone was dressed and ready to go, we headed downstairs so that Malia and Erick could do their first look on the stairs of the hotel.
There were plenty of paparazzi on hand!
We took some time to find a couple indoor spots to do portraits.
A quick stop inside the MCA for a couple of frames:
And then it was over to the Metropolitan Club for the ceremony:
Bring on the dance party!
Congratulations again, Malia and Erick! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
