Evanston Woman’s Club Wedding : Thao and Tim

You may remember Thao and Tim from their engagement session. We walked around downtown Chicago in the early evening shooting, and I had a great time getting to know these two better. After having such a good time with them the first time around, I couldn’t wait for their wedding at the Evanston Woman’s Club! I started out my day with Thao and her bridesmaids as they got ready at their condo in Evanston.

Tim, meanwhile got ready at a nearby hotel. He had a little bit of trouble with… well I’m not quite sure what he’s doing here.

I loved Thao’s wedding shoes!

When the girls were all ready to go, we headed towards the Northwestern campus to meet up with Tim and the guys.

The first look:

Thao and Tim had scouted out a secluded little garden for their first look, and it worked out perfectly!

One of Thao’s bridesmaids designed the bouquets herself; I thought they turned out quite nicely!

There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, and there was a great view of Lake Michigan.

We headed over to the Evanston Woman’s Club to meet up with family and prepare for the ceremony.

Time for the first dance:

Followed by the dance party! There were tons of kids at the wedding, and they were definitely having a great time on the dance floor!
