Laura and Allan had a beautiful fall wedding at the Chicago Smart Museum of Art in Hyde Park. I had never met Laura or Allan prior to the wedding day, but by the end of the night, they felt like friends I had known for years. They were so kind and sincere, and they really wanted to have lots and lots of fun at their wedding! Let’s get to the photos:
I started off my day with Laura, her family, and her bridesmaids as they got ready at their home in Hyde Park.
Laura’s shoes, which were in a high traffic area.
Spotters are important when taking wedding dresses down from windows.
Laura looked stunning in her dress, and I loved her necklace!
We did the first look just outside their building.
Afterwards, we hopped in a car and went over to Promontory Point for a few portraits. Here’s one of my favorites from the day:

We jumped back in the car and took off for the Chicago Smart Museum for the ceremony.

In case you wondered, yes, Gangnam Style is a staple of pretty much every wedding these days.
