Chicago Mart Plaza Wedding

You may remember Rebecca and Tim from their downtown Chicago engagement session last year. I really had fun working with them, so I was really excited to do so again on their wedding day! Rebecca and Tim were getting married at the Chicago Mart Plaza. They both had rooms at the hotel there, and I started my day off with Tim and the guys. I loved Tim’s Chicago Bears cufflinks! Afterwards, I rushed down to Rebecca’s room just minutes before she jumped into her dress. The entire wedding day was all at the Chicago Mart Plaza, so we needed only to take an elevator down to get to the ceremony. It had been raining the night before and most of the morning, but the rain had finally eased up during the ceremony, and we were able to step outside for some fun portraits. The sun even made a quick appearance before going down for the evening! We headed back to the Mart Plaza for the reception. Instead of using conventional table numbers, Rebecca and Tim named each table after a different street in Chicago. The tables, appropriately, were decorated with a fall theme. There was no shortage of dancing, and some of Tim and Rebecca’s friends were ridiculous dancers! There was even some karaoke that broke out during the end of the night! Congratulations again, Rebecca and Tim. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to document your wedding day!

Shout outs:
Hair and Makeup: Laetitia from Styles Down the Aisle
Venue: Chicago Mart Plaza
Flowers: Silk Thumb Florist
Officiant: Pastor Jeffrey Phillips
DJ: Matt Windsor, MDM Entertainment
Photobooth: Photobooth Express
Harpist: Renee Wilson, Chicago Wedding Harpist

Off to meet up with Rebecca and the girls!

The rain had stopped earlier, so we could head outside for fun pictures!

This guy didn’t even notice the bride and groom!

I loved how the tables were named after streets in Chicago.

Late-night karaoke was brought out at the end of the night, but there was no shortage of dancing!

Rebecca and Tim both changed their shoes before the night was over.
