I absolutely love Melanie and Paul. To start, they’re kind, funny people who treated me as if we were old friends. I loved getting to know them better at their engagement session. Oh, and they have a dog named Captain America, which made my nerd-self love them even more. Melanie and Paul chose to have a Mexico destination wedding. I take on a handful of destination weddings every year, and the opportunity to photograph in a different environment with different light is always fun for me. Cabo definitely had a different feel from the city weddings I often photograph, and I was inspired by the location and the light. A big thank you to the talented Angela Renee for shooting this Mexico destination wedding at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach with me!
The girls and guys got ready at separate suites at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach resort.
The ceremony was outdoors, overlooking the beach and the ocean.
The wind had really picked up as the night came, but Melanie and Paul didn’t let it dampen their spirits. And their friends and family kept warm from the unusually strong winds by staying on the dance floor all night. Bonnie, Melanie and Paul’s planner, was really excited for the band – Kilometro – and they didn’t disappoint!
Melanie and Paul’s dogs were present in spirit and in cardboard form!
Congrats again Melanie and Paul – thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Mexico destination wedding day! I had an amazing time working with you both and I wish you only the best.
