Today, I’m excited to share some of Caroline and Josh’s River East Art Center wedding photos! One of my favorite ways to get to know a couple before their wedding day is with an engagement session. After spending a few hours with Caroline, Josh, and their energetic (and lovable!) dog Prudence for their South Loop Engagement Session I knew that their River East Art Center wedding would be an absolute blast. We were blessed with a perfect June day and kicked off the festivities at Mile North Hotel which is where both Caroline and Josh got ready with their closest friends and family. Nervous? Not these two! Both of them were beaming from ear to ear during their ceremony at Old St. Mary’s Catholic Church and well into the afternoon when we stopped at their first date spot, Aurelio’s Pizza, for some shots at the same table they fell in love at. I wasn’t sure that anything could top the amazing atmosphere and decor at the River East Art Center until Josh surprised Caroline with the entrance of their beloved dog right before their reception. Tears flowed and love reigned as Caroline and Josh soaked up the affection, kind words, and well wishes of family from near and far. While the couple danced the night away their guests were sent home with some awesome treats including Caroline and Josh’s favorite snack… Popcorn!
Caroline and Josh – Not only are you two a ton of fun to hang out with, but your kind demeanor and lovingness towards each other makes my job EASY. To be able to capture something that is so obviously meant to be is a definitive perk of what I love to do for a living. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to spend time with you, your family, and Pru!
