Megan and Jimmy’s Ovation wedding day has been long overdue here on my blog. To set the scene, summer of 2019 had finally started turning into fall, and the leaves had started to change colors. Megan and Jimmy had just moved into their new home, and it made the perfect spot for the two of them to get ready with their family and friends. The first photo is from a wall of ivy we spotted that had just started changing colors – we jumped out to do a quick portrait in front of it.
I had to force myself to stop taking photos of their adorable pups:
After she was dressed and ready, Megan had a first look with her father.
Then, we jumped in a car and headed to Humboldt Park, where Jimmy was waiting.
After taking some portraits around the city, we headed to the church for the ceremony.
I love little capturing quiet moments like this on wedding days that are usually anything but.
Megan and Jimmy enjoyed a moment together in a Rolls Royce as we drove over to Ovation.
Time for the dance party – the Style Matters DJs made sure that the dance floor was packed!
Congratulations again, Megan and Jimmy! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Ovation wedding day. I had a blast documenting your story and wish you all the best.
