I have so much to share still from 2017, and today I’m excited to feature Lizz and Dave’s Knickerbocker Hotel wedding day on the blog! The Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel is a classic Chicago hotel, which perfectly fit the theme of the day. Weather in Chicago is always a guessing game, but these two lucked out with a beautiful fall day. Lizz and Dave followed up a touching ceremony at Fourth Presbyterian with an incredible party at their reception. You’ll find a few of my favorites below:
Lizz and Dave both got ready in separate suites at the Knickerbocker hotel with friends and family.
When everyone was ready, we headed out for the short walk across Michigan Avenue to Fourth Presbyterian.
Their pup Poppy made an appearance after the ceremony:
We took advantage of the weather to walk out towards the lake. It was a little bit of a hike, but I’m so glad that Lizz and Dave agreed because the open skies and clouds were beautiful!
Davenport Designs and LOLA worked together to make sure the ballroom was stunning for the reception.
Time for the dance party – it was a good one! The Front of House band was electric, and they kept the dance floor packed throughout the night.
We stepped outside for a moment at the end of the night for a quick night portrait under the hotel’s lights.
