Richard and Rick’s Ivy Room Wedding was full of emotion. There was lots of big emotions – laughter, joy, and happy tears, but I wanted to capture all the little ones too. From how they looked at each other to quiet, long hugs, I tried to make sure that these little moments didn’t want to get lost among the larger ones. I had so much fun working with these two and their families, and I’m excited to share a few of my favorites:
We started off the day at the Langham Chicago. It was St Patrick’s Day weekend, and Richard and Rick got to watch the Chicago River being dyed green from their suite as they woke up in the morning.
And yes, it really is that green!
We jumped in an Uber and headed to the Ivy Room, where Richard and Rick headed to different rooms to get ready until the ceremony.
Richard and Rick shared a first look as the ceremony began and then walked down the aisle together.
Guests headed to cocktail hour while the team at Stemline Creative worked their magic in the Ivy Room.
Dance party time!
Congratulations again Richard and Rick! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Ivy Room wedding day. I really enjoyed working with you, your friends, and your family and wish you all the best!
