Hello again, blog followers! Today on the blog, we have Maia and Mike’s Cafe Brauer wedding. It seems like I’m at this venue a few times every year, but I’m not complaining because it’s one of my favorites! I was able to meet some of Maia and Mike’s family and friends because I photographed their rehearsal dinner the evening before the wedding. I had such a wonderful time meeting everyone, so I was really looking forward to the wedding day! Let’s get to it:
I started off the day with Maia, her friends, and her family as she got ready in her suite at Hotel Lincoln. The wonderful Sonia Roselli was on hand to do Maia’s hair and makeup, and she made that Maia looked and felt fantastic!
Mike’s gifts to his groomsmen were cufflinks that combined two of my favorite things as a child – Legos and Star Wars!
After she was ready to go, we headed off to Lincoln Park for our first look and a few portraits with the bridal party.
Cafe Brauer is located inside Lincoln Park, so were able to walk over for the ketubah signing after we were done with portraits.
After the ketubah signing and the ceremony, it was time for the reception! Maia and Mike kicked things off with their first dance.
One of Maia’s bridesmaids had a birthday, so they made sure that she got to celebrate it at their wedding!
And finally, it was time for the dance party:
At the end of the night, we stepped onto one of Cafe Brauer’s balconies for a quick night potrait.
