Cafe Brauer Wedding Photos : Bruni and Fred

Today, I’ll be sharing a few favorites from Bruni and Fred’s Cafe Brauer wedding. First, let’s back up a little bit. I always think it’s pretty cool when a couple approaches me with awesome ideas for their engagement shoot. When Bruni and Fred called me about incorporating bicycles from Heritage Bikes for their Roscoe Village Engagement Session I was definitely on board! I hope you have time to check out their shoot-It’s fun to see how their personalities balance each other out. On the morning of their wedding I headed to Chicago’s Hotel Lincoln to spend time with Bruni before meeting up with Fred. I certainly thought on my way over that the morning’s rain had dampened Bruni’s spirits about her big day, but quite to my surprise everyone including my stunning bride was content and cheerful. How could you not be happy when surrounded by mountains of amazing Jewish pastries and surrounded by best friends and family at 8am?! Needless to say, our getting ready process was relaxed and fun. After getting Bruni into her gorgeous and simplistic J.Crew wedding dress we slipped away so she could see her groom for the first time that day. With the rain subsided and sun peeking out we were able to photograph their emotional first look and take some portraits outdoors. Thank you for whoever prayed for amazing weather that day-How perfect for a Fall Wedding! During their ceremony I couldn’t help but stop in awe at how heartwarming it FELT when multiple guests where chosen to participate in the wedding ceremony by reading specific scriptures. What a great way to incorporate people you care about! Guests were treated to hot cider while mingling outdoors for cocktail hour and then ushered back indoors for a beautiful and elegant brunch. I have to admit that I wasn’t quite expecting the party I witnessed until 3 in the afternoon… Good times! I don’t think there was a couple in there that wasn’t on the dance floor at one point. I bet their guests can’t say they’ve had that much fun on a Sunday recently :)

Bruni and Fred – Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you at your Cafe Brauer wedding. You two are a blast to spend time with and I hope you had the most amazing honeymoon!
