It’s snowing in Chicago, but this Cafe Brauer summer wedding will hopefully take away some of your winter blues! I’m happy that I’m able to keep catching up on my blog before the upcoming wedding season and share more of what I’ve photographed. Jorie and Eryck aren’t local to Chicago, and I still remember when we met up for a cup of coffee about a month before the wedding when they were in town. I loved getting to know them better in-person, and it really made me look forward to documenting their day.
Let’s get to the Cafe Brauer wedding photos:
Jorie and Eryck got ready in seperate suites at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Chicago.
They saw each other in the lobby of the hotel, and then we headed out to do a few creative portraits on our way to Cafe Brauer.
The two signed their ketubah on one of Cafe Brauer’s outdoor loggias.
The weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony for this Cafe Brauer summer wedding, on the grounds just in front of the building.
Jorie and Eryck hung onto each other after their emotional ceremony.
I love how Cafe Brauer looks and feels once the sun goes down, just in time for dancing.
Time for the dance party and the hora! Arlen Orchestra kept the dance floor packed all night long.
We stepped out at the end of the night for a couple quick portraits; one of them was my favorites from the entire day, which is why it’s at the top of the post. The other is below:
