Today, I’ll be sharing Elissa and John’s Architectural Artifacts wedding on the blog. Elissa and John are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I remember during our engagement session how John and I both arrived a little early and were able to chat some and get to know each other better. Elissa arrived soon after with their pup Indy, but parking in Lincoln Park is tricky at best, so we all hopped in the car with her as we searched and searched for a spot. :) I still fondly remember talking about everything from Nebraska (where Elissa’s family lives) to lighting design (John’s work). I was really looking forward to working with these two again on their wedding day at Architectural Artifacts, one of my favorite venues in the city. Here’s a few of my favorites from their day:
Elissa and John got ready for the day in their suites at the Viceroy hotel.
Their pup Indy was so excited to see Elissa and John!
It was cold and windy, but Elissa and John didn’t complain once when we went outside for a few portraits downtown!
The kids were just a little bit excited about the desserts at the sweets table.
We stepped out into the courtyard near the end of the night for one last portrait:
Congrats Elissa and John! Thank you so much for giving me the chance to work with you on your Architectural Artifacts wedding day. I wish you all the best!
I also wanted to give some love to the team of vendors who helped to make this Architectural Artifacts wedding day possible. Thank you all!
