Heidi and Adam's Chicago Wedding

Posted in Weddings on August 12th, 2010

About a week before the wedding, Heidi and Adam asked if I wanted to meet at Potbellys to go over the wedding timeline. Um, definitely. Only days before their wedding at Salvatore’s, Heidi and Adam were still calm, relaxed, and in great spirits, so I knew that this was going to be a fun day for everyone!

You may remember these two from their engagement session around downtown Chicago. Heidi got ready in the new home that she and Adam had just purchased, while Adam got ready at a hotel. They had their first look right outside their home, and afterwards, we took off with the bridal party to do some fun pictures! We started out at Montrose Harbor before making our way down to Lincoln Park. From there, we walked over to Salvatore’s for the ceremony and reception. Both the staff and the food here were fantastic, and I’m excited that I’ll be coming back here later this year for another wedding! Kate and Rachel from the fantastic Toast and Jam did a great job keeping the dance floor packed all night, and I had so much fun shooting the reception! Congratulations, Heidi and Adam; thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day!

Maggie took some great shots of the guys as they got ready…

…and took the L over to meet Heidi and the girls!

After their first look, we were off to do some fun pictures!

Um, not sure what was happening here. Impromptu Thriller dance party, maybe?

We finally arrived at Salvatore’s for the ceremony and reception.
