I remember how much fun I had at Whitney and Dave’s engagement session, so I couldn’t wait for their wedding at the Westin Chicago Hotel! I started off my day with Whitney as she got ready with her bridesmaids. Morgan Blaul worked her magic on Whitney’s hair and makeup. Deb started off her day with David and the guys as they got ready in a separate room. When everyone was ready to go, Whitney and Dave had their first look in the hotel lobby. As it has been for most of this month in Chicago, it was raining, but we braved it with the wedding party in order to get a few photos outside. Fortunately, Whitney had bought umbrellas for everyone! Afterwards, we ran back inside to dry off before the ceremony. Since we had already done the wedding party and family photos, Whitney and Dave hung out with their guests at cocktail hour while the hotel staff flipped the room for their reception.
Whitney’s lovely bouquet and all of the other flowers were provided by the talented team at Asrai Garden. Andrew from Fig and Shutterbooth made sure that all of the guests had a great time all evening. Finally, much thanks to Deborah from Honey and Light Photography for being my fantastic second photographer. Congratulations again, Whitney and Dave; I had a fantastic time working with you guys again; thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to document your wedding day!
