It was only about a month ago when I last worked with Katelyn and Scott. I met them at their home before we headed out for their Lincoln Park engagement photos. I had a great time getting to know these two better; Katelyn and Scott met because they lived on the same floor of their apartment building! I couldn’t wait to be able to work with these two again at their River East Art Center wedding.
I started off my day with Katelyn as she got ready with her family and bridesmaids.
When everyone was dressed and ready to go, we jumped in a limo and headed for Assumption Church for the ceremony.
I loved the purple and pink bouquet that Evolution Floral put together for Katelyn:
The weather, unfortunately, decided that it was not going to cooperate. It was gloomy and raining after the ceremony, so instead of heading outside, we headed straight to the River East Art Center to do a few wedding portraits indoors. Afterwards, Katelyn and Scott were able to enjoy the cocktail hour with their guests before heading down to the reception.
River East Art Center:
At last, time for the dance party! Style Matters did a great job keeping everyone dancing all night.
The rain had let up by the end of the night, so we headed outside for a couple more quick portraits on the balcony.
Congratulations again, Katelyn and Scott and thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
