The forecast had called for rain all day for Laura and Andrew’s wedding at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, but it stayed away just long enough for us to do everything we needed to do! I had such a great time working with these two, and I’m excited to be able to share photos from their big day. Let’s start the show:
I started off my day with Laura and the girls as they got ready at a room in the Hotel Lincoln.
Meanwhile, Andrew and the guys were getting ready in their own room at the hotel.
Last minute perfume check!
I loved these pink and yellow shoes:
We arrived at St. Clement’s church for the ceremony.
With the ceremony over, we bussed over to Lincoln Park to do a few wedding party photos. The sky looked threatening, but the rain was still staying away!
No rain yet!
We arrived at one of my favorite venues, the Peggy Notebaert Nature museum for the reception.
I loved how the room was set up at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum!
Laura, Andrew, and the entire wedding party performed a traditional Lithuanian dance at the beginning of the reception.
The dance was several minutes long and quite elaborate, but the wedding party pulled it off without a hitch!
And now, it was time for the dance party! The Stu Hirsch Orchestra did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor all night.
It was just that kind of party:
Congratulations again, Laura and Andrew. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
