Remember Kelly and Brian from their Logan Square engagement session last fall? Well of course you do! About a year had passed, and I was incredibly excited for their wedding at the Nineteenth Century Club. Not only did Kelly used to work in the same organization as my wife, this fantastic couple were also friends with Anne and Pat, whose Princeton wedding I shot earlier this summer! Plus, I had been to the Nineteenth Century Club on a couple occasions in the past; Lisa and Rob’s Oak Park wedding, and my own wedding a year before that!
I started off my day with Kelly and the girls as they got ready at her parents’ house. Brian and the guys made their way over to do the first look in the backyard. It was an early November afternoon, but the weather was warm and the sun was shining. We drove around the area in a trolley, stopping to take fun wedding party photos at a few spots before making our way over to the church for the ceremony. Afterwards, we jumped back into the trolley and head towards the Nineteenth Century Club for the reception. Amanda from Toast and Jam kept the dance floor packed, and the guests enjoyed tons of pie – because who needs cake?
It’s photo time!
We found a brewery to run into!
Don’t eat that, kid!
Congratulations Kelly and Brian, and thank you again for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I had so much fun, and I wish you both nothing but the best!
