You may remember Laura and Kevin from their Millenium Park engagement session in Chicago last fall. This wonderful couple was having their wedding at the Intercontinental O’Hare, and I couldn’t wait to work with them again on their wedding day! I started off the day with Laura and the girls as they got ready at the hotel. Deb started her day with Kevin and the guys in another suite. When everyone was ready to go, we jumped onto the trolley and headed to St. Juliana for the ceremony. After taking a few wedding party photos, it was back to the hotel for the reception! Once the dancing started, Okyne Media did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor packed all night.
And since no one’s here to read my ramblings, it’s time for some wedding photos:
Laura’s dress was actually constructed from two other dresses; the top half and the bottom half each belonged to two different wedding dresses, and Laura got the best of both worlds by having them altered to fit together!
Time for the ceremony at St. Juliana:
We found a little forest preserve near the reception venue that we explored for a few photos of Laura, Kevin, and their wedding party:
I loved the grey bridesmaids dresses!
Back to the Intercontinental O’Hare for the reception:
Time for the dance party!
This is a favorite:
Congratulations again, Laura and Kevin. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day; I wish you both nothing but the best!

Aww yeah! Great work. Backlit bride= WIN!!!
Beautiful coverage all around, but I have to say the last shot of grandma getting her boogie on is my favorite. :)

beautiful wedding! the shots with grandma in them are my faves :)
What a seriously amazingly fun party — it looks like everyone had such a blast. I love the getting ready shot of the girls laughing in the library. :)
that backlit bridal portrait is outstanding….I hope they print it large!
I’m going to go out on a limb & guess that they LOVE these photos. Ok, maybe it’s not that much of a limb. :)
These are gorgeous, Steve. That backlit bw shot of Laura is epic, and I love the first dance shots!
