Intercontinental Hotel Wedding in Chicago : Sarah and Adam

Sarah and Adam had a classic Chicago wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel, and I was excited to be a part of their big day. I last saw Sarah and Adam at their engagement session in downtown Chicago; I had such a good time with them during the session that I couldn’t wait for their wedding day. I started off my day with Sarah as she got ready in her suite with bridesmaids and family. Sarah and Adam were both getting ready at the hotel, but they weren’t seeing each other before the ceremony. Thus, we were extra careful to avoid each other before when going around the hotel beforehand.

Sarah and Adam didn’t see each other before the ceremony, so I spent some time with Adam and the guys as well before the wedding started.

I loved how the ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel looked. Melissa Phillips of Simply Perfect by Melissa and Vale of Enna did a fantastic job!

After the ceremony, we spent a few minutes outside to do some portraits.

It was windy, in case you couldn’t tell:

By the time we came back, the room had been flipped for the reception.

After dinner, it was time for the dance party.

The Chris Sarlas Orchestra did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor all night.
