The last time I saw Catherine and Dan was a hot summer day in June. We met in Chicago’s west loop for their engagement photos, and even though it felt like we were walking around in a sauna, they were fantastic sports about the weather and had such a great time laughing with each other. I was really looking forward to working with them again on their wedding day. Mother nature again decided to be uncooperative on the wedding day, and the rain and storms prevented us from spending any time outdoors. Fortunately, both Catherine and Dan didn’t let what was out of their control bother them, and they focused on having a great time with their friends and family at the wedding. And now, onto some wedding photos!
I started off my day with Catherine and her family as they got ready at her parents home.
With everyone dressed and ready, we drove over to the church for the ceremony.
Rain, shmain – Catherine and Dan didn’t let the poor weather bother them, and we spent a little time doing portraits indoors at the Hyatt Lodge.
One of my favorites from the first dance:
And now, onto the dance party!
Congratulations again, Catherine and Dan, and thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day; I wish you both nothing but the best!
