You may remember Bertha and Nick from their awesome Chicago engagement session. I had lots of fun working with them at our engagement session, and I was really looking forward to their wedding at Galleria Marchetti! I started off my day with Bertha as she got ready, surrounded by friends and family in her condo. Once she was ready, it was off to St. Mary of the Angels for the ceremony. Afterwards, we went to Kinzie Street Bridge and Millennium Park for some fun photos. The weather was unusually warm for October in Chicago, so we took a little break back at the hotel before heading to the reception at Galleria Marchetti. This was my first time shooting at Galleria Marchetti, and the only time I had seen the space before was on the Chicago season of Top Chef! This post is also a little heavy on reception details because Bertha and Nick had so many of them. Bertha, Nick, and planner Charlene Liang did a great job making the reception look spectacular! Congratulations again, Bertha and Nick. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to document your day. I loved everything about your wedding! Thanks to my wonderfully talented second shooter Maggie Rife for all of her help and her amazing work!
