Remember Lauren and Jimmy from their engagement session in Evanston? I had a blast getting to know these two better while working with them, so I was really looking forward to their wedding day. Let’s get to some photos!
I started off my day with Lauren, her mother, and the bridesmaids as they got ready in their suite at the Sofitel hotel.
When all of the girls were ready, we left the hotel…
…and arrived at the Chicago History Museum. Jimmy was already on the grounds, so we immediately did our first look.
It was quite windy, but I didn’t mind!
We did a few photos of just the bride and groom as well as their wedding party.
One of my favorites from the day:
The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and the ceremony was held just outside the front of the Chicago History Museum.
Lauren and Jimmy ended their ceremony by singing a song to each other and all of their guests. I loved this idea!
Your guests will probably have a great time at cocktail hour. But your guests will have an even better time at cocktail hour if an Abraham Lincoln impersonator makes the rounds!
Charlene at Sweetchic Events did a fantastic job with the event design for the wedding reception:
Time for the dance party! Colby Beserra and the Great Life Music band sounded great, and everyone had a fantastic time on the dance floor.
Congratulations again, Lauren and Jimmy. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to document your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
