I’ve been fortunate enough to be at one of my favorite venues, A New Leaf, several times this year. Barring a last minute inquiry, Kristi and Brad’s wedding would be my last time there in 2011, and it was an absolute blast! This amazing couple originally wanted to do a destination wedding, but logistics and planning made it difficult, so they chose to get married in their current home city of Chicago instead.
I started off my day with Kristi and the girls as they got ready at the Trump Hotel. When hair and makeup were done, Kristi got into her gorgeous Vera Wang dress, and we jumped into a limo to head to the ceremony. Deb had been getting ready with the guys at their apartment. The weather was absolutely beautiful, so the guys were able to enjoy it by walking a couple blocks over to the Cancer Survivors Garden. After the lovely ceremony, the wedding party drove around the city doing some fun photos, including a stop at Northerly Island! When we were done, we finally headed over to A New Leaf for the reception.
Sick of reading? Well good news – it’s photo time!
Sarah’s freedom dance – it was pretty awesome:
Over to the guys…
And back to the girls!
Cancer Survivors Garden was lovely:
Off to Northerly Island for a few photos. The weather was gorgeous!
And finally, over to A New Leaf for the reception.
Rather than doing a first dance, Kristi and Brad invited all of their friends to dance with them!
Congratulations, Kristi and Brad! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! I had an absolute blast, and I wish you both nothing but the best!
-Steve
