Becky and Jon’s Evanston Wedding

Becky and Jon lived in Boston but wanted to have an intimate, personal, and nontraditional Chicago wedding. They had a cocktail reception at Epic the night before the wedding with family and friends, and kept the actual wedding day festivities to just immediate family. I started off my Saturday morning with Becky as she got ready at her parents’ house in Evanston. Getting there was a little bit tricky, because the time that I was supposed to arrive coincided with the end of a Northwestern football game. Luckily, I didn’t run into too much traffic! When she was ready to go, we all jumped in a car and headed over to Northminster Presbyterian Church, where Jon and his family were already waiting. After a brief ceremony, Becky was craving coffee, so we all headed over to Linz and Vail for coffee. My assistant Kelly, who lives in Evanston, was really excited because she was a fan of the place! Now that we were properly caffeinated, we drove to downtown Chicago in order to get a few shots around the Chicago Board of Trade. We ended our day at Avenues at the Peninsula, where the newlyweds reunited with their immediate families for dinner. Congratulations, Becky and Jon! I loved being able to be with you on your wedding day and wish you both nothing but the best!

These were actually Becky’s sister’s shoes, but I just loved how they were sitting against the doorframe.

Jon, before the ceremony:

Don’t forget your bouquet!

Time for some coffee at Linz and Vail!

Loved this wall inside the Peninsula Hotel!

Love your style- candid to say the least but very artistic. Great job!
