Some people have a list of exactly what locations they want for their engagement pictures. Bertha and Nick were not those people. They just wanted some fun shots around the city, and a skyline shot if we could fit it in. These two were troopers who got up super-early on a Sunday morning to meet me down in the West Loop. Rain looked like it was looming on the horizon, but luckily, we only had a couple of drops fall on us while we were out shooting! After getting some fun, urban engagement pictures Chicago’s West Loop, we drove over to Adler Planetarium to grab some shots with the lake and skyline. Bertha and Nick – thanks for getting up early to work with me; I had tons of fun at your engagement session, and I can’t wait for your wedding!

Absolutely love that last shot of them lying in the grass. What a cute couple, and great photos, too!
Great colors Steve! Love the pics – can’t wait to see the rest of them!
