Hi there, blog followers! Today, I’ll be sharing a few favorites from Jessica and Mike’s Women’s Club of Evanston wedding. Leaving my normal stomping grounds of Chicago for a nearby city is always a pleasant change, never more so than for my recent bride and groom’s wedding in the neighboring town of Evanston. Having met Jessica and Mike during their Spring Downtown Chicago Engagement Session I got to know the two better and was able to see why their personalities mesh so well. Jessica, who works as a therapist, is definitely a perfect match for her new husband, Mike, who works in theatre. The morning of their wedding Jessica got ready at the home she share’s with Mike in Evanston before departing to the Millar Chapel. If you’ve never been able to take a peak inside this church before you should definitely stop in-The stained glass alone made for a perfect spot for these two to recite their vows. Mike had a few tricks up his sleeve for the many guests attending the wedding! One of them an especially cute and funny quote written by Dr.Seuss and read by one of his groomsmen. It was just another one of the little things that made Jessica and Mike’s wedding unique and fun. Fending off the rain as long as we could we headed to the lakeshore for a few portraits before finally retreating to the reception. The warm and cozy candle lit dinner led way to some raucous speeches and an emotional first dance. Before I knew it every person there was out of their chair and out on the dance floor!
