Hello again, blog followers. Welcome back! It’s only March, but my wedding season starts early this year! I’m excited to share Kristen and Joe’s winter wedding, my first of 2014. I had a great time working with these two, and they somehow managed to make a 200 person wedding feel like an intimate affair because of all of the laughter, joy, and emotion throughout the day. It’s been a brutally cold winter, and unfortunately, mother nature didn’t want to cooperate. It was cold and snowing, but Kristen and Joe didn’t even seem to notice because they were having so much fun. Since no one came here to read, let’s get to the photos!
I started off my day with Kristen and her family as they got ready at her home in Wicker Park.
When Kristen and her family were ready to go, we jumped into the limo to head to the church.
These two hadn’t seen each other yet, so Joe waited for Kristen anxiously at the front of the church.
After the ceremony, it was still snowing. But Kristen and Joe were too excited to care!
Off to the reception!
One of my favorites from the first dance:
And finally, time for the dance party. Matt from Your Night Productions kept the dance floor packed all night long!
Congratulations again Kristen and Joe! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your winter wedding day. I had a blast working with you both, and I wish you nothing but the best!
