Hello again, blog followers! I’m excited to share a few frames from Monica and Mike’s School of the Art Institute of Chicago wedding today. The last time I worked with this lovely couple was about a year ago at their Lincoln Park engagement session. Not only did I have a great time getting to know these two better, we ended the session at Molly’s Cupcakes! Anyways, back to the wedding day. These two were such a pleasure to be around all day, and I had such a great time documenting all of the emotion and moments. Now, let’s get to some photos!
I started off my day with Monica, her friends, and her family as they got ready in their suite at the Westin River North.
Mike had an incredibly sweet note for Monica that he sent her before they saw each other:
We did our first look outdoors on the bridge:
After the first look, we spent a little bit of time doing portraits with the wedding party before the ceremony.
We kicked off the reception with the first dance. The ballroom at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago was a perfect setting for this wedding.
Time for the dance party! Dustin from Toast and Jam did a great time keeping the dance floor packed all night.
Congratulations again, Monica and Mike! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
