It’s always a pleasure to shoot when I get to shoot a Salvage One wedding. It’s such a unique venue, and the team there are always great to work with. It makes things even better when I have a fun, relaxed couple like Anna and Matt to celebrate with. And as if things weren’t great enough to begin with, I had the tremendous Melissa from Clementine Custom Events staying on top of all of the details.
I started off the day with Anna, her family, and her bridesmaids as they got ready at her parents condo in downtown Chicago.
Meanwhile, Matt got ready at home.
After everyone was ready to go, we headed to Salvage One so that Anna could get into her gorgeous dress!
Cold winter weather kept us indoors for portraits, but there’s so many interesting compositions inside Salvage One that this wasn’t a problem at all!
I loved the bridesmaids sporting some Converse shoes!
After the ceremony, we all moved upstairs for the reception.
Time for the dance party!
And guests who need a break from the dance floor can always hit up the foosball table at Salvage One!
At the end of the evening, we braved the cold weather for a couple quick photos outside in front of Salvage One’s Chicago sign.
