Welcome back to my blog and Happy Holidays to everyone! It’s been an amazing year and I’m excited to end on a such a high note with a few favorite Prairie Production wedding photos from Laura and Craig’s big day.
With the first snowfall of the season behind us and the holidays quickly approaching this time of year always add an extra touch of excitement to the weddings I get to photograph. Not only was Laura, her mom, and her girlfriends in great spirits when I arrived, but the buzz of festive planning always puts a smile on everyone’s face including my own. And I’m pretty sure that nothing can beat having your childhood pet around while getting ready for such an amazing milestone in your life! Laura met Craig at the gorgeous St.Ben’s in Irving Park for her ceremony before slipping away to Union Station with her wedding party. With the way these two were beaming at each other I’d bet that they didn’t even notice the wintery mix coming down outside! We met their guests at Prairie Production for their reception and I could tell how excited Laura was to see all of her hard work come together. The chinese lanterns and warms hues of amber were stunning and beautifully lit the room that would be host their guests for hours of dancing and sweet treats! Honestly, there is no other way I’d rather wind down my wedding season than with such a great dance party :)
Laura and Craig – thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day!
