Welcome back to the blog! Today, I’m really looking forward to sharing a few of my favorites from Maril and Joe’s A New Leaf wedding day. I remember at our initial consultation about how laid-back and relaxed these two were, and they approached their wedding day the same way. The most important thing was for their friends and family to have a great time, and I think that they were definitely successful!
I started off the day with Maril, her family, and her friends as they got ready in their suite at the Hotel Lincoln.
Joe got ready at home, which happened to be literally down the street from the hotel. Both of these locations were also just a short walk from A New Leaf, and I loved how Maril and Joe literally kept all of the festivities in their home neighborhood.
Back to Maril and the girls! I loved the details of Maril’s dress:
After a couple portraits in the courtyard and garden, we headed indoors for the ceremony.
Time for the dance party! There was a lively hora, and I was thrilled to be able to work with Rachel from Toast and Jam again. She made sure that the dance floor was packed all night long!
We snuck outside at the end of the evening for a quick night portrait in the courtyard.
Congratulations again, Maril and Joe! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
