Chicago Indian Wedding : Priti and Anoop at the Sheraton

Aside from the beautiful colors and heartfelt traditions of an Indian Wedding,  I’ve been looking forward to spending the day with two fantastic clients – Priti and Anoop. This amazing couple hosted their guests from around the world at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Chicago and what a day! It was an early start, but to my pleasant surprise my bride was grinning from ear to ear when we arrived. If there’s one thing you should know about Priti and Anoop it’s that their fun attitude and loving energy is what kept us in high spirits into the wee hours of the night.  After a romantic ceremony (and some shoe stealing – you know what I mean if you’ve been to an Indian Wedding!) Priti, Anoop, and I snuck away for about an hour to take some photos close by.  We’re thankful for the beautiful day as we were able to capture some spots in the city that drew the couple here in the first place.  Priti and Anoop- I can’t thank you enough for having me there for your Indian wedding and I can tell you for the sure that the future holds nothing, but great things for the two of you.

I started off my day with Priti, her friends, and her family as they got ready:

We did our first look right outside the hotel. There had been a threat of rain all week, but luckily for us, the skies were clear!

We headed inside to begin all of the customs and traditions that make up an Indian wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony, both Prit and Anoop did an outfit change.

We stepped out for some fresh air and a couple more portraits in downtown Chicago:
