On today’s post, I’ll be sharing a few of my favorites from Maylene and Alex’s Hyatt Lodge wedding day. I wasn’t able to meet these two in-person until the wedding day, but they greeted me as if I was an old friend. There was laughter, joy, and happy tears throughout their celebration, which celebrated both of their cultures. Plus, Alex and his friends performed a breakdance routine at the reception! It’s always a pleasure to work with the talented team at Sweetchic Events, and this event was extra-special because the bride was a sister of lead planner Charlene.
Everything took place at the Hyatt Lodge – the prep, the ceremony, and the reception – which made logistics a breeze. I started with Maylene as she got ready with friends and family.
Alex got ready in a different part of the lodge with his friends and family.
When everyone was ready, Maylene had a first-look with her bridesmaids, and then with Alex.
There had been rain all morning, but it stopped just long enough for us to venture outside for some portraits.
And then we were back inside for the ceremony.
The ballroom was stunning!
During dinner, Alex and his friends performed a breakdance routine, followed by a traditional Korean ceremony.
Dance party time!
Congratulations again Maylene and Alex! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Hyatt Lodge wedding day. I really enjoyed working with you, your friends, and your family and wish you all the best!
