I’m so excited to share a Cafe Brauer wedding with all of you today! My bride, Jen, showed up with her bridesmaids at the MileNorth Hotel with an extra bounce in her step. This was one excited bride and I hope you’ll be able to see why! After getting ready (and multiple hugs from her fantastic parents) we set off for her ceremony at St.James Chapel. Meanwhile, you’d think that the anticipation would’ve gotten the best of her groom to be, Rob, to see his beautiful bride but you would never have guessed it based on his calm and cool demeanor. After their heartwarming ceremony, and with their best friends and family in attendance, we headed off to the Lincoln Park Zoo to utilize some of the sunshine for photos before their Cafe Brauer wedding reception. Their guests we’re also able to soak up some of the great weather by kicking off cocktail hour on the patio before the couple and I headed back. Rob had tuned me into the fact that Jen loves to dance-And that’s exactly what they did well into the night.
I can’t thank you enough for having me there for your wedding! Clients like you keep my job fun, sentimental, and exciting. Cheers to you, Jen and Rob! Now, onto the photos:
I started my day off with Jen and the girls as they got ready at the Mile North hotel downtown.
Off to St. James Chapel for the ceremony. I loved this brief moment between Jen and her father before they walked down the aisle.
A few quick portraits in Lincoln Park before the Cafe Brauer wedding:
Time for the dance party!
Congratulations again, Jen and Rob! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Cafe Brauer wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!

I can’t tell if that guy face first on the dance floor was intentional or an accident, but great capture none the less. That last shot is all around awesome!
