Usually when I’m working with a client for a third time, it’s for a family session a few years down the road from the wedding day. The first time I worked with Heather and Kaleb was at their engagement session in 2019. However, due to the pandemic, they postponed their Cafe Brauer wedding until 2021 and had a micro wedding in the fall of 2019, celebrating with family and a few close friends. Thanks to vaccines, they were able to hold a larger reception with friends and family in 2021! Several of my clients did the same thing as Heather and Kaleb – having small ceremonies during 2020 and holding larger receptions this past year, and I loved the idea. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding reception:
Heather and Kaleb started off their day in separate suites at the Viceroy Hotel.
When they were both ready, Heather and Kaleb had a first look on the rooftop of the Viceroy.
We headed to Lincoln Park to do a few portraits around Cafe Brauer.
Afterwards, we walked back into Cafe Brauer for cocktail hour and dinner.
Time for the dance party!
Congratulations again Heather and Kaleb! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your Cafe Brauer wedding day. I had a blast working with you and wish you all the best. Here are a few shout outs to the people who helped to put this Cafe Brauer wedding reception together:
