Kate and Josh celebrated their wedding at Armour House in Lake Forest, just outside the city of Chicago. It was a warm summer day, and I was excited to see Kate and Josh again, having worked together a few months earlier at their Lincoln Park conservatory engagement session. Here’s a few of my favorites from their day:
Kate got ready in part of the mansion with friends and family. They had a balcony that overlooked the ceremony site so that they could watch it being put together as they got ready.
Josh got ready in a suite with friends and family on the other side of the mansion.
When everyone was ready, we headed downstairs for Kate and Josh’s first look.
Kate and Josh had their first look on the grounds of Armour House, just south of the ceremony site.
We did some portraits arounds the grounds of Armour House.
And then we headed back inside for the ketubah signing.
Ceremony time!
Afterwards, we headed indoors for dinner and the reception.
Time for the dance party! Josh went up in the hora alone. As someone afraid of heights, I don’t blame Kate one bit for choosing to keep her feet on the ground.
Congratulations again, Kate and Josh! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Armour House wedding day. I had a blast documenting your story and wish you all the best.
