A few weeks ago, I was approached by a former client asking if I could volunteer my services for a Literacy Chicago fundraiser. Literacy Chicago is a fantastic nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the literacy skills of Chicago-area families and adults. Literacy Chicago’s fundraiser, “The Well Read Affair,” featured a silent auction for books, bookmarks, and several other items which were signed by celebrities. Nancy Giles, actress and CBS News Sunday Morning contributor, was the master of ceremonies for the night and was an absolute pleasure to speak with. Below are a few shots from the night.
