When I first spoke with Simer and Andres about their Nasher Sculpture Center wedding, it was on the phone. Busy schedules kept us from meeting until about a month before their wedding last fall. When I finally met with them over coffee, I knew almost-immediately how well we were going to get along! A brief meeting about wedding logistics turned into a 45 minute conversation, and I couldn’t wait to work with them in Dallas.
Here’s a few of my favorites from the day:
Simer got ready with friends and family at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas.
Andres got ready in a separate suite with his friends and family.
We traveled separately to the venue, and then Simer and Andres shared a moment together:
After a few portraits in the garden, it was time for the ceremony:
The sun was going down as the ceremony started, and all of the lights in the garden made the ceremony feel surreal:
Some rain made us move indoors for the reception, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.
Dance party time – it was a good one!
Simer and Andres shared a final dance alone in the garden at the end of the night before exiting in front of their guests.
Congrats again Simer and Andres! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Nasher Sculpture Center Wedding day. I loved working with you, your friends, and your families and wish you all the best! Thank you to the team who helped to make this Nasher Scultpure Center Wedding day possible:
