When Jane and Lee booked me to be a part of their wedding day, I had no idea that I’d also get to work with them a few days before the wedding! Bucking tradition, Jane and Lee decided to get formally married at City Hall a couple days before their wedding ceremony and reception. So, on a cold December morning, I met up with Jane and Lee at the courthouse.
Jane’s family and Lee’s family (all the way from the UK!) came along to support and witness the marriage.
After the ceremony, we spent some time inside City Hall admiring the architecture!
Afterwards, we braved the cold to take some shots outside!
Coming up next: Jane and Lee’s wedding reception!

This is great! It’s so rare to see photos from a courthouse wedding. My fave is probably the one on the staircase, but I also like the one with the city hall sign. Did you use a tilt shift lens? Or is it a photoshop effect?
Thanks for the kind words, Lisa. The outdoor City Hall photo was indeed shot with a TS lens.
I absolutely adore the last one!

This is beautiful! We are planning to get married at city hall the April before the wedding. What day of the week was this? I can’t believe the building is so empty. Makes for some beautiful shots.
Thank you so much for posting. It looked cold, but what a warm couple :)
