Hello blog followers! Today I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite frames from Taryn and Zach’s Salvage One wedding. You may remember these two from their Wicker Park engagement photos last fall. I had a blast working with these two the first time around, so I couldn’t wait to see them again at the wedding. This was my second Salvage One wedding of the year, and I was excited to be back shooting at one of my favorite wedding venues.
Taryn got ready at Salvage One, which definitely made things easier logistically. Since I normally shoot preparation in a hotel suite, I loved the opportunity to shoot prep in a different environment!
I loved the black birdcage veil that Taryn wore.
One frame from the first dance:
Time for the dance party!
The foosball table got put to good use by the guests as well!
At the end of the night, we snuck out into the courtyard to shoot a couple more portraits.
Congratulations again Taryn and Zach! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your Salvage One wedding day. I wish you both only the best!

I’m so in love with that second shot!
Aww, the groom’s reaction is so precious.
Gorgeous. I always love the tone of your photos… how they seem to match the mood of what’s happening. This wedding is no exception (and that first image is amazing)!
Beautiful steve!! love the 6th shot with the bride and the mesh
Such great use of light! Well done!
Your use of light is spot on. Freakin’ beautiful.
Love the vibrancy of the colours in your images. Looks like a really fun day.
The shot of the little girl peaking out at the bride is adorable.
