To help you get through the middle of the week, I’m excited to share some of Katie and Rob’s Room 1520 wedding photos today! The last time I worked with these two, it was for their winter engagement session. Katie really wanted to shoot in the snow, and luckily, a tiny bit started falling from the sky just as our session was ending. For their wedding day, there was definitely no snow to be found as we happen to be in the middle of a hot summer here in Chicago. These two were filled with so much laughter and happiness when I first worked with them, and the Room 1520 wedding day was no different! Even some ridiculously strong winds that tried to wreak havoc were no match for the good spirits that everyone was in. After a lovely ceremony, Dustin from Toast and Jam kept the dance floor packed all night long! Anyhow, you probably didn’t come here to read, so let’s get to the wedding photos!
I started off my day with Katie and the girls as they got ready in her suite at the W Hotel Lakeshore.
Once everyone was ready to go, we had our first look just outside the hotel.
After taking a couple portraits, we headed to Room 1520 for the ceremony and reception.
Dance party time – it was a good one!
Congratulations again, Katie and Rob. Thank you for letting me be a part of your Room 1520 wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best!
