Remember Franchella and James from their Chicago engagement session? Of course you do! I had a blast working with them the first time around, so I was really looking forward to their wedding at the Hyatt Lodge. The weather, unfortunately, was overcast with some rain, but Franchella was still in fabulous spirits when I met up with her at the Marriott Oak Brook. When she was ready to go, we jumped into a limo and headed for the Hyatt Lodge.
Fortunately, there was a covered bridge where Franchella and James had been planning to do their first look – we were able to be surrounded by nature while staying dry! We spent a little time doing photos with the wedding party before the ceremony. Franchella and James finished their wedding ceremony by jumping the broom, and then it was time for the reception! DJ Chicago kept the dance floor packed, and everyone had a fantastic time!
I’ve rambled enough. Time for some photos!
Time for the first look!
One of my favorites:
Red Bull: it does a bride good!
Cake smash!
Congratulations again Franchella and James! I had such a fantastic time documenting your wedding day, and I wish you both nothing but the best!

Lovely work. I love that bouquet toss shot.
