You may remember Courtney and Steve from their engagement session in Central Park. I had so much fun chatting with them during the engagement session, so I was really excited to work with them again on their wedding day! Courtney and Steve had their wedding at the lovely Chatham Bars Inn in Cape Cod. It was my first trip out to the Cape; knowing that, Courtney and Steve provided me with tons of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple! It may have been spring, the weather on the wedding day was unfortunately gloomy and rainy. The rain didn’t seem to bother the lucky couple, as both were relaxed and in great spirits on the morning of the wedding! I started off my day with Courtney as she got ready with her family and bridesmaids. I jumped over to Steve’s suite for a few minutes to capture him getting ready as well before coming back to the girls. When Courtney was in her dress and ready to go, we made a mad dash for the cars to head to the main building for Courtney and Steve’s first look. The wind and rain had picked up, so we spent our time indoors doing some wedding party photos. We jumped back into the cars and headed for the boathouse for the ceremony. Just as Courtney and Steve were pronounced husband and wife, the music from the end of Star Wars: A New Hope started playing for their recessional! The building for the wedding reception was right next to the ceremony building, but while en route, Courtney and Steve decided to run out onto the beach for some photos, braving the rain and wind. I shot as quickly as I could, and we sprinted back to the reception. The rest of the night was absolutely fantastic; there was tons of dancing, a performance by Steve’s college a capella group, and cupcakes from Crumbs bakery! Congratulations again, Courtney and Steve. Thank you so much for bringing me out to Cape Cod and letting me be a part of your wedding day!
