Website Launch Giveaway!

I’ve thanked them multiple times, but I must thank Curious and Company for all of their hard work on my new branding and website. As the website crept closer and closer to going live, I began thinking about a promotion or giveaway that I could do to help promote the launch. I reached out to some local Chicago wedding vendors and was thrilled that so many of them were willing to help out! After a little brainstorming, I’m thrilled to announce my website launch giveaway!
Swag:
One lucky winner will receive all of the following:
- Engagement session or a couples session with Chicago wedding photographer Steve Koo, along with a DVD of usable, edited high-res images and personal reprint rights
- A 1-on-1, 2-hour makeup bag makeover session with Chicago’s premier makeup artist, Sonia Roselli
- 20% off credit for any Sonia Roselli products purchased on the day of the 1-on-1 session
- 2 hour planning consultation with wedding planner Charlene Liang of Sweetchic Events. At this consultation valued at $300, discuss color schemes, decor, vendor recommendations, etiquette, logistics and all things wedding-related.
- $150 gift card for jewelry designed by the fabulous Erin Gallagher
- 100 custom designed thank-you cards from Kelly at Keg Design
- Something for the guy: Two $50 gift certificates towards services at Halo for Men: Chicago’s Premier Salon for Men and a Halo for Men t-shirt
All together, it’s more than $1500 worth of products and services! There will be one lucky winner; you don’t have to live in the Chicago area and you don’t have to be engaged to enter, but it would sure make some of the prizes easier to use!
How to Enter:
There’s 3 ways to enter, and every person is allowed to each of these 3 ways, giving yourself up to 3 entries!
1) Comment on this blog with a valid email address. IP addresses will be monitored to ensure that no one creates a ton of fake email-addresses to enter multiple times. Don’t try to sell me viagra in your comment or it’ll probably get screened as spam.
2) Follow me on twitter @stevekoo1 and tweet this exact phrase, including the link at the end:

If you’re already following me, no need to un-follow and re-follow. If your tweets are protected, I won’t be able to see them and count your entry.
3) “Like” Steve Koo Photography on Facebook here and post this exact comment on your own personal wall, including the link at the end:

In the wall post, you must tag “Steve Koo Photography”. so that your wall post also appears on the Steve Koo Photography wall. UPDATE: So for whatever reason, tagging Steve Koo Photography on your personal wall posts isn’t showing up on the Steve Koo Photography wall. Until I can figure out the problem, in addition to posting on your own personal wall, please post the same text directly on Steve Koo Photography wall to make sure I can see your entry. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I’m working on fixing it!
That’s it! The giveaway ends at midnight central time on Friday, June 17, 2011. A winner will be randomly chosen and notified via email, twitter, or FB, depending on how the winning entry was submitted.

Other Rules:
Prizes are non-transferrable unless you receive explicit written consent from the service/product provider that you may transfer a service. You may not use any of these giveaway prizes towards already-contracted services or products. (For example, if you’ve already booked Steve Koo Photography for your wedding and have an engagement session scheduled, you may not use the prize in order to receive a refund for contracted services. You will instead receive an additional session that you can use may use before or after the wedding!) All prizes, except for the gift certificates at Halo and Erin Gallagher, must be redeemed by the end of the 2011 calendar year unless you receive explicit written consent from the vendor that the deadline may be extended. Every person is allowed up to three votes according to the methods described above. Anyone who violates any of the rules will be disqualified at the discretion of Steve Koo Photography, who is administering the giveaway. The giveaway is open to anyone over the age of 18. You don’t have to live in Chicago to enter, but if you win and you don’t live here, it gives you a reason to take a trip to the windy city! :) All services will be rendered in Chicago unless otherwise specified. You don’t have to be engaged to enter – you can be married or single, too! Winner will be selected by random number generator and notified. If Steve Koo Photography does not receive a response from the winner within 72 hours, another winner will be selected randomly.
